For Pride this year, we’re highlighting queer nonprofits and charities. It’s more important than ever to support the queer community and raise awareness for those who do so all year round, long after the rainbow flags come down.Let’s Celebrate Pride by Supporting Nonprofits
Seeing things like this really makes me wonder…
Those who celebrate their own pride? The leading cause of death in the LGBT community is suicide more than by HIV/AIDS. Breast cancer in those living a lesbianic lifestyle and anal cancer in those living a gay male lifestyle is at an overwhelming high. The level of domestic violence between couples – especially male couples – is obscene. You don’t see any of those crises being addressed, no real solutions provided by “allies”. No. You see the crises of real human lives being whitewashed and swept under the rug. What is this money-worshipping dystopia of a society we are living in, calling on everyone to celebrate something we have evidence to claim is fundamentally destructive not only to the quality of living, surviving and thriving, of society but of these very individuals? Why are we supporting a political agenda and lobby that doesn’t care about the real lives in the community, a political agenda called “Pride”, that targets children – and all human civilization, but most notably children – to sexualize and disorient/brainwash them? To create problems in persons and families and society in order to try to make itself appear more relevant with promising an illusory facade of a solution, like snake-oil salesmen? Celebrate it more? Make it more widespread? It’s a marketing scheme for profiting off the harm in the lives and relationships wrought by Pride. How much hate must there be in a heart for someone to condone something so harmful? When will the Communism end in the “free world”/”free country”? What is it going to take for people to wake up and stand up? We’re not free. We cannot thrive, let alone survive, living a lie. Pride is a smooth voice and a false promise, and is a cause of instant gratification followed by a – most commonly – lifetime (and eternity) of pain and misery. You don’t love someone by condoning what promises to harm or destroy them and their authentic (not sentimental) integrity of life.
That’s right. I’m Catholic. I’m both pro-life and pro-Eternal Life. And so is God.
